Planning Volunteer Roles and Recommended Timeline
The following document can be used as a guideline to plan the event and support delegates in research.
The Simulation Parliamentary Procedures
In our experience, an intergenerational Model UN simulation works best with a simplified form of parliamentary procedure. Recommended duration is 2.5 hours, with 1 minute opening speeches given by all delegations. Leave at least 20 minutes for writing resolutions and 20 minutes for the presentations of resolutions.
